OK, here’s the first of many reviews of 3 new artists that are worth a listen in my opinion…..
Anna Beljin – When It Rains : A bluesy, soulful offering that is both hauntingly familiar and completely new sounding at the same time. Anna has one of those voices that you think you’ve heard before, but then she takes you someplace else. Definitely worth a listen.
Mitchell Rose – Love To Me : a very listenable pop offering, with really great vocals by Mitchell. He has a passionate, strong voice and these songs are well written and produced. Go check it out.
Jason Raso – The Red Arrow : Well produced, hip and very smooth jazz. Pop this in when you want a romantic evening or dinner with your favorite squeeze. The album was mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London, and features B3 legend Tony Monaco, along with jazz veterans Richard Underhill (Alto Sax) and Ted Warren (Drums). Also featured is Italian Vibraphonist Franchesco Pinetti. Have a listen.
As always, your comments on the above are welcome. – Jim
